WWE star Ric Flair revealed he was dealing with a health crisis. There’s an update
Ric Flair has provided an update about this health, and, fortunately, the news is good.
The wrestling legend revealed last month that he’d been diagnosed with skin cancer for the second time in three years.
On Tuesday, the WWE star known as Nature Boy shared a picture on X posing with a nurse, declaring he was “cancer free.” In the picture, there’s a good size bandage on both his forehead and upper arm.
Flair tagged Academic Alliance In Dermatology, which has offices near his home in Tampa, Florida, for taking care of him, and added his signature phrase, “WOOOO!”
This is hardly the first time the Memphis native (real name Richard Fliehr) has made headlines over medical crises.
In 2017, Flair, who has been candid about his struggles with alcohol, had surgery on an obstructed bowel, which led to near fatal complications, including kidney failure.
Five years later, the 76-year-old passed out during his final match in July 2022, with a doctor telling him after the fact that he’d had a heart attack.
“It didn’t hurt,” he said on the Jaxxon wrestling podcast last year of the cardiac event. “I feel great; that’s my problem. I’m sure I’m just gonna fall off a chair one day. They’re gonna say, ‘There he is. Get that little son of a b---h up out of here.’”
