Hulk Hogan fans, take a breath. The wrestling legend is dealing with a few health issues, but is OK. We think.

Radio host Bubba the Love Sponge (real name Todd Clem) dropped the bombshell rumor Wednesday that his former friend was near death.

“If you did some sniffing around, you might find him in a hospital near you and it’s not good,” Bubba said on his show. “I got some pretty reliable information last night that there are phone calls being made to various family members about getting to town to come say your goodbyes.”

Bubba joked that he wouldn’t be in the circle of close people to be contacted. (About a decade ago, Hogan won millions after suing now defunct Gawker Media for posting a sex tape of him with Heather Clem, then the wife of Bubba, who was behind the camera).

TMZ confirmed through Hogan’s reps that the information that Hogan was in a dire way was incorrect. The Clearwater, Florida, resident (real name Terry Bollea) had been hospitalized last month for “a little fusion procedure” on his neck.

Hogan was then recently readmitted reportedly due to similar reasons, as per TMZ. But, according to an UsWeekly exclusive, the Real American Beer founder’s medical problems are actually cardiac related.

“Hulk had pretty serious heart surgery a few weeks ago and was doing well afterward,” the source told the outlet, adding, “ It wasn’t a near-death thing.”

His reps have yet to comment on the Us article.
