Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa selling his South Florida home. What we know
Tua Tagovailoa is looking to flip this house.
The Miami Dolphins quarterback has put his five-bedroom lakefront home in Davie, Florida, in the verdant Robbins Park neighborhood, up for sale.
Asking price: $3 million.
As per Broward County property records, Tagovailoa bought the 5,076-square-foot spread for approximately half that — $1.65 million — at the height of the COVID pandemic in July 2020, and soon after the then-rookie signed with the Fins.
You don’t have to even know what NFL stands for to appreciate this place. Amenities include a movie theater, putting green, resort-style pool, summer kitchen and “spectacular” water views, according to the description on Homes.com.
The site adds that Jonathan Mann and Danny Hertzberg, of Coldwell Banker, have the listing.
Want to step outside your awesome crib? The gated community also includes such perks as state-of-the-art fitness center, club house, plus tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts.
Off campus, you’re just about a football field or so away from Tree Tops Park, full of nature, hiking and horseback trails.
So why would Tagovailoa want to unload such a gem?
Beside profit, obvio, we hear the 27-year-old married father of two likes his privacy, and already found a new castle in an undisclosed location.
So yeah, don’t get any ideas that the Hawaii native is going anywhere. He recently inked a five-year $244M contract, and has touchdowns in his future.
“I’m the highest paid employee in this [organization],” he said at the time of the signing. “So I got to [do] whatever to get my guys moving in the direction that we need to go to do those things.”
