Influencer Olivia Jade hits the beach in Miami. She is Aunt Becky’s mini-me
Slide aside, Southern California. Miami has a new fan: Olivia Jade.
The infuencer, the daughter of actress Lori Loughlin and designer Mossimo Giannulli, is in the 305 and clearly enjoying herself.
On Wednesday, the 25-year-old, who goes by her first and middle name, hit the beach, showing off a few snaps to her 1.2 million Instagram followers.
“It’s a beautiful day!” said the post.
In another carousel, the beauty vlogger is seen lounging with a cup of coffee, and in another pic, smiling wearing a pair of shades and a bikini on the sand. The sign in the background puts her at the public beach in Surfside.
Even the most casual observer can’t ignore the young woman’s striking resemblance to Loughlin, who starred as Aunt Becky in “Full House” (and even before that as Jody on vintage soap “The Edge of Night”).
Though we found out the YouTuber is in town due to a partnership with Bondi Sands (hence, her amazing tan), it’s unclear who is on the other side of the camera because some photos don’t appear to be selfies. Rumored boyfriend, “Euphoria” hunk Jacob Elordi, perhaps? He wasn’t in paparazzi photos picked up by the gossip rags.
What is definitely clear is that Giannulli has moved on from the college admissions scandal that rocked the headlines a year before COVID hit.
Loughlin, 60, and Giannulli, 61, admitted to paying $500,000 to a fixer to help Olivia and her older sister Bella get into USC by falsely portraying their daughters as standout rowers, even going as far as to stage photos.
Neither girl was charged but Loughlin was sentenced to two months after pleading guilty to a federal charge of conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud. The TV star was also fined $150,000 and required to complete 100 hours of community service. Giannulli served a five month sentence.
There was no grudge about what her folks did, the former USC student told the ladies on “Red Table Talk” in late 2020. Ignorance really was bliss.
“To be honest, I wasn’t angry and I think it’s because I didn’t have a good understanding of what just happened,” Olivia said at the time. “I walked around my whole 20 years of life not realizing, ‘You have insane privilege.’”
