‘Eva-palooza’: Eva Longoria just celebrated her 50th birthday in a big way in Miami
If this is 50, we’ll have what she’s having.
Eva Longoria celebrated her big birthday in Miami Friday night with a little help from her very famous friends.
The onetime “Desperate Housewives” star was feted at Edgewater hotspot Casadonna, surrounded by such pals as Lele Pons, Becky G and Gabrielle Union.
The birthday girl, rocking a shimmery strapless gown, was serenaded by a live mariachi band, then presented with a multi-tier cake, decorated in sparklers and her name in frosting. Everyone sipped on potent cocktails made with Longoria’s own tequila brand, Casa Del Sol, before moving on to LIV at the Fontainebleau until the wee hours.
After a brief rest, Longoria kept the partying going, sharing snippets from a second celebration on Saturday night.
Among the glitterati who made the list aboard a yacht: Loren Ridinger, Gloria Estefan, newly single pal Jessica Alba and Ana Navarro who called the weekend “Eva-palooza.” The guest of honor’s son, Santiago, 6 (dad is Mexican media honcho Jose Bastón) also managed to stay up for the festivities.
On Sunday afternoon, she was all business after a quick brunch at Verde, the restaurant at Perez Art Museum Miami. Incredibly, Longoria showed up no worse for wear for the premiere of her latest movie, Disney Plus’ “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Road Trip” at AMC Sunset Place 24 in South Miami. Also on the red carpet: Jessica Alba, who sported a pair of sunglasses (we get it, girl).
In an Instagram caption, Longoria said she was grateful for the love and embracing the big five oh.
“Ready for this new decade.”
