‘Euphoria’ star Sydney Sweeney just put the brakes on her wedding plans. What we know
Hold off on those RSVPs.
Sydney Sweeney won’t be making it down the altar anytime soon.
The “Anyone But You” star has postponed her nuptials to fiancé Jonathan Davino, TMZ reports.
The pair was apparently set to get hitched in May in Chicago, where the groom to be is from, but that’s not happening.
An insider told the gossip outlet the date change was due to a conflict with their work obligations.
“The wedding was being pushed back because of the couple’s busy schedule.”
It’s unclear what Davino, a businessman, has cooking at present, but Sweeney is a hot Hollywood commodity. As per IMBD, the actress’ projects include her ongoing role as Cassie on “Euphoria,” a biopic on boxer Christy Martin and the starring role in the psychological thriller “The Housemaid,” due in theaters around Christmas.
Sweeney, who bought a waterfront mansion in the Florida Keys last year, got engaged to Davino in 2022.
Although these two keep a low profile — Sweeney is notoriously private about her love life — they seem on solid ground, so don’t assume there’s trouble in (literal) paradise. Maybe they just decided to tie the knot someplace warm and sunny.
