Shakira is not one to disappoint her fans, but unfortunately she had to pull out of a concert in Lima, Peru, Sunday due to a health issue.

In a post on her Instagram Stories Sunday, the pop star announced that the show was canceled and that she was in the hospital. Fans were seen gathered outside the entrance to the Delgado Clinic to show their support.

“I am sorry to inform you all that last night I had to go to the ER for an abdominal issue,” said the text over screen. “The doctors whose care I am currently under have communicated that I am not in good enough condition to perform this evening. I am very sad...”

Shakira apparently recovered enough that by the next evening she was able to take the stage for the rescheduled show.

The mother of two, 48, is in the midst of her “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” world tour, giving more than more than 30 performances over five months. On Tuesday, she arrived in her native Barranquilla, with sons Milan and Sasha for back to back shows Thursday and Friday.

If all goes according to plan, Shak will be back home in South Florida in a few months to play Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens on June 6.
