Trolls still think Miami influencer is having affair with LeBron James. Her response
Nope, still not happening.
Miami influencer Yes Julz was just forced to debunk a years-old rumor that she’s having an affair with LeBron James.
The social media personality, whose real name is Julieanna Goddard, goes back a long with the basketball star.
The two have known each other since James’ halcyon days playing with the Miami Heat from 2010 to 2014 as part of the Big Three, along with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh. The Ohio native went on to help propel the team to two back to back national championships.
Even now, a decade later, with James making baller moves with Los Angeles Lakers, YesJulz has remained a fan.
On Tuesday night, after the Lakers vs. Dallas Mavericks game, she sang the married father of three’s praises on X. Along with a clip of the power forward’s high flying windmill dunk (switching arms mid-air and slamming the ball in the net), she added some panting emojis.
The commenters began to flood her post.
“You ain’t beating the allegations now.”
“Chill bruh, u gon ignite the rumors.”
“Why you doing this?”
“You gonna get King James in trouble.”
In the responses, the University of South Florida alum clapped back:
“You really think I give af about ya’lls baseless rumors? Bron is my fav player and the GOAT. I will always celebrate his wins.”
This isn’t the first time Julz had to go to the mat to defend herself against the trolls.
In a 2023 Instagram Live, which still lives on YouTube, the 34-year-old party promoter set the record straight (or so she thought).
“I know this is going to come as a complete f---ing shocker to you. Here’s a fact: I have never in my entire life been alone with LeBron James. Period. There is nothing that ever went on there. Clearly, we were friends.”
Julz says that she helped plan celebratory events that he attended and hung out with his teammates. But that’s as far as it went.
“Do you think that somebody that’s married would Tweet and take pictures with and be around [somebody] that they’re, you know, like doing something with? Around their family and wife? Like, no. It just doesn’t even make sense.”
