Life moves quickly in the political arena.

On Monday night, Donald Trump Jr. was spotted hand in hand with socialite Bettina Anderson in West Palm Beach.

Gossip watchers had to wonder if the first son had ended his long engagement with Kimberly Guilfoyle, though no statement was issued by either party.

By Tuesday, the former “Apprentice” star’s father, president elect Donald Trump, more or less confirmed that his eldest son was no longer with the Fox anchor by offering her a huge gig. Guilfoyle was tapped to be the ambassador to Greece, meaning their (possibly messy) breakup won’t play out on American soil.

At least Jr.’s being a gentleman (ish) about the situation.

“I am so proud of Kimberly,” the “Triggered” author wrote on X, sharing his father’s Tuesday announcement. “She loves America and she always has wanted to serve the country as an Ambassador. She will be an amazing leader for America First.”

UsWeekly has even more dirt, reporting that Guilfoyle and Jr., who own a massive compound in Jupiter, split before the election and started to divide assets.

And the reason the exes didn’t go public was to not “detract from “important issues.” They were going to let the cat out of the bag after the inauguration, the celeb mag adds.

So now that all the loose ends are tied up neatly in bow, we assume Jr. and Anderson can continue on their merry way.

An insider told Page Six the lovebirds — who were first pictured getting cozy in September during a steamy brunch — have been together a few months.

Apparently, their romance is an open secret at this point.

“[They] are super cute and happy together. It’s just a natural fit,” said the source. “Everyone is happy for them!”
