Leonardo DiCaprio was just spotted in Miami Beach checking out art without girlfriend
Now, it feels real.
We can’t 100 percent get into the Art Basel spirit without a Leonardo DiCaprio sighting.
And Tuesday night, we got one.
Well, we didn’t technically get it, TMZ did, but still. Leo’s here and he looks ready to spend.
A pic taken by a bystander shows the Oscar winner dressed in his signature ballcap and face mask making his way through the Miami Beach Convention Center surrounded by an entourage.
The gossip outlet reports that the 50-year-old superstar took an interest in one of the crowd talkers of Miami Art Week, “Necronom / Alien III.” The creepy, life size piece is by late Swiss artist HR Giger, who created the Xenomorph in Ridley Scott’s “Alien” movies.
It’s going for $1 million, a mere drop in the bucket for DiCaprio, a big time collector. The “Titanic” star reportedly owns works by such greats as Frank Stella, Jean Michel Basquiat and Pablo Picasso.
We have no idea of the climate activist’s schedule while in town, but we do know pal Sean Penn is hosting the annual fundraising event for his the emergency response nonprofit CORE at Soho Beach House Thursday night.
DiCaprio’s been a guest at Penn’s gala for a number of years. It’s unclear if he’ll be attending solo, as gf Vittoria Ceretti does not appear to be along for the trip.
We have faith the nightlife lover will find something fun to do. We remember back in January 2023, DiCaprio was pictured partying until 4 a..m. at such SoFi hot spots as Papi Steak and Forte dei Marmi. Ceretti, 26, came into the picture about six or so months later.
