Did RFK Jr. eat McDonald’s in that viral pic aboard Trump’s plane? Here’s the answer
Did he or didn’t he?
Political watchers who no doubt saw the viral picture of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. aboard president-elect Donald Trump’s plane Sunday had one big question.
Did the environmental lawyer/fitness fanatic indulge in McDonald’s?
The snap in question was taken aboard Trump Force One and posted to Donald Trump Jr.’s Instagram.
It shows RFK Jr. seated at a table with soon to be No. 47, along with billionaire Elon Musk and Donald Trump Jr. Boxes of Mickey D’s are scattered all over the place, loaded with what appears to be burgers and sandwiches, as well as fries.
All the men are smiling, except for RFK, who was just tapped to lead the Department of Health and Human Services. The 70 year old’s tanned face is contorted into a quasi grimace.
The caption: “Make America Healthy Again starts TOMORROW,” a rib on the campaign slogan MAGA, “Make America Great Again.”
So was this a publicity stunt or did RFK actually eat the carb- and fat-laden meal?
Drumroll, please. In fact, according to Trump Jr., yes.
“Bobby did have some,” the 46-year-old businessman confirmed on the Charlie Kirk podcast the following day.
The Palm Beach resident explained the crew was headed back to Florida after the UFC fight at MSG in New York when they decided to make an impromptu fast food run.
“We definitely had some fun with that one,” Don Jr. said of the photo op. “He definitely looks like he got his hand caught in the cookie jar.”
Maybe because RFK had recently just criticized his potential boss’ poor eating habits.
“The stuff he eats is really, like, bad,” the former Independent candidate recently revealed on “The Joe Polish Show,” despite marveling at the 78-year-old Trump’s energy. “Campaign food is always bad, but the food that goes onto that airplane is like just poison...you’re either given KFC or Big Macs.
“That’s when you’re lucky, and then the rest of the stuff I consider kind of inedible.”
