Mystery celebrity is suing the lawyer who reps 120 alleged Diddy victims. Here’s why
The tables are turning for Tony Buzbee.
The attorney whose firm is representing 120 individuals who allege they were abused by Sean “Diddy” Combs, is getting sued himself.
The mystery plaintiff, listed only as John Doe, accuses Buzbee of extortion, TMZ first reported. The suit, filed in L.A. County Superior Court Monday, says the Houston lawyer has threatened to release “entirely fabricated and malicious allegations of sexual assault” if he refuses to pay up.
The “high profile individual” is apparently an associate of Diddy, but their relationship is unclear. His suit says that Buzbee accused him of raping “multiple minors, both male and female, who had been drugged at parties hosted by Combs.”
Doe says that the demand letters to “resolve this delicate and important matter” with a mediated settlement are causing him “intentional” emotional distress.

Buzbee isn’t backing down.
“It is obvious that the frivolous lawsuit filed against my firm is an aggressive attempt to intimidate or silence me and ultimately my clients,” he said in an Instagram statement. “That effort is a gross miscalculation. I am a U.S. Marine. I won’t be silenced or intimidated. Neither will my clients.”
Combs remains in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn and has pleaded not guilty to charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty.
The 55-year-old father of seven was due in court Tuesday after his legal team accused prosecutors of an unlawful search of his jail cell. They say “privileged notes to his lawyers concerning defense witnesses and defense strategies” were uncovered.
The disgraced mogul’s lawyers called the seizure of written materials a violation of their client’s right to a fair trial.
