Surprise!

Gwen Stefani popped up as the mystery performer at Saturday night’s Make A Wish Ball in Miami.

The headliner for the annual fundraiser, in its 29th year, had been under wraps in early invites.

OK, so that a singer of Stefani’s caliber came out to the event wasn’t that huge of a shocker. The flashy ball has attracted the likes of other superstars like Sting, Diana Ross and Jennifer Hudson. It’s just that normally, media folks were made aware well in advance of the talent on tap.

It’s unclear why Stefani’s appearance was so cloak and dagger. We reached out to organizers and did not immediately hear back.

Regardless, the former No Doubt singer, wearing a yellow Scottish mini kilt and studded bustier, rocked the house belting out her hits for over an hour.

The high wattage crowd included various “Real Housewives of Miami” stars like Guerdy Abraira, Lisa Hochstein and Julia Lemigova, as well as Dr. Nicole Martin, who recently quit the franchise, citing her mental health.

Lemigova, who attended sans tennis icon wife Martina Navratilova, posted a video of Stefani jumping around on stage doing her solo 2006 hit “The Sweet Escape.”

The 55-year-old “Voice” judge did not appear to be lip syncing in the slightest, and we are most definitely not worthy.

The evening raised a record-breaking $5 million, thanks in part to Stefani’s efforts.
