They were the Season 1 guinea pigs on a new reality show called “Married at First Sight” back in 2014.

Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner introduced themselves to one another at the altar.

Amazingly, the reality TV couple, who live in Sarasota, Florida, are still going strong.

On Sept. 18, Otis and Hehner welcomed twin boys, Hawkins and Huxley, to the fold. The newborns joined big sister Henley, 7, and brother Hendrix, 4.

But just about three weeks later, amid the diaper changes, swaddling and all night feeding sessions, came the news that Hurricane Milton was hurtling down the pike.

On social media, Otis documented the difficult decision they had to make.

Ride out monster storm, which was predicted to be a Category 5, or pack up the family of six and go?

Initially, the pair battened down the hatches and hoped for the best, but as time wore on, and weather forecasts grew more dire, they opted to get in their minivan to head southeast to Miami Tuesday night.

“Our home was built well and has withstood many storms, but it doesn’t have hurricane shutters,” Otis explained to her followers. “With this storm predicted to be one of the worst in a century it just felt like maybe we should leave.”

The following day, hours before Milton made landfall on Siesta Key as a still devastating Cat. 3, Otis posted a pic of her brood safe in an Airbnb.

“It’s wild to think a week ago we were all in bed cozied up taking newborn photos with our twins and today we are all in bed praying our home is still in one piece.”
