Is the Miami Heat’s Bam in a relationship with an WNBA star?

If the rumors are true, it’s a relationship made in basketball heaven.

The Internet was all abuzz Wednesday after six local Olympians were bestowed the Key to the County for their achievements during a ceremony in downtown Miami.

Among the honorees was Bam Adebayo, who won gold in the U.S. men’s basketball team in Paris last month.

Cheering on the Heat power forward from the front row at at the Stephen P. Clark Center was none other than WNBA star and fellow Olympian A’ja Wilson.

As she was introducing the athletes, Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava didn’t let Wilson’s appearance go unnoticed, putting her in the literal hot seat.

“I guess it has something to do with Bam and the Heat, huh? Being here today?” says Cava in a viral post shared on X.

The camera immediately panned to Wilson, who smiled, looking slightly embarrassed, then shrugged.

Hmmm.

The two ballers were first linked after being spotted together on what appeared to be a date in July at Team USA training camp in Las Vegas.

Perhaps they are just friends supporting each other’s careers? Because the 28-year-old South Carolinian, who was reportedly named after the Steely Dan song “Aja,” was last linked to fellow hoops player Josh Cunningham.

As for Bam, 27, the New Jersey native hasn’t been officially dating anyone special as far as we know since joining the team in 2017.

Time will tell if we see Wilson posting from the Bahamas, where the team is said to be training.

Or maybe we should just ask the mayor.
