This hit Netflix dating show is looking for ‘brave’ Miami singles — there’s one hitch
Had it with dating apps and the South Beach club scene?
Netflix’s “Love is Blind” may want to make you a star.
The hit reality show, whose premise is that you don’t actually see your romantic partner in the flesh until you’re engaged, is looking for singles.
The social experiment, hosted by Hollywood couple Nick and Vanessa Lachey is seeking “brave, open-minded” individuals, according to an Instagram post.
The premise: Unentangled individuals from the same region “date” without seeing each other over the course of 10 days, while living in a plush pod. You get to know your potential soulmate while talking to one another through a wall.
In order to get a place in the pod, you’ll have to go through a fairly intense process.
Kinetic Content — the producers behind “Married at First Sight,” a show where strangers meet at the altar — vets the contestants through a thorough online application, as well as with a background check and psych eval.
Beside providing recent (unfiltered) photos, you’ll be asked to fill out a mammoth questionnaire, providing myriad personal details about your love life, like what attracted you to former partners, what caused the breakup and your feelings about having kids.
If you make it through the gauntlet (they need 15 men and 15 women) and are selected, you may end up with the love of your life, or at the very least, $1,000 a week pay.
Please be 21 and up.
