Months after a shocking incident involving cops, William Levy’s ex breaks her silence
It’s been a quiet few months since cops were called to the Broward County home William Levy and Elizabeth Gutierrez once shared.
In April, ”El Gordo y La Flaca” released shocking bodycam footage showing officers from the Davie Police Department responding to the Southwest Ranches house on March 2.
Gutierrez, seen in the driveway, had called them requesting assistance after their daughter Kailey, 14, had tried to enter and saw a random woman and claimed that her father “pushed” her. But when Levy gave the cops a tour of the place, the only other person they saw was the maid and all seemed copacetic. With the situation de-escalated, Gutierrez then drove away with Kailey.
“There were no marks, redness or signs of injury which would indicate a physical altercation,” said the police report. “The physical contact between William and was not intentional, therefore no crime occurred.”
Levy, 43, soon released a statement, assuring fans that nothing untoward happened.
“It’s my house, I was alone. Kailey knocks on the door, I don’t know what’s happening. I don’t push her, I put my hand there [to prevent it from opening] ... You can’t come in here, this is my room, my privacy.”
And Gutierrez, who also shares a son, Christopher, 18, with the former model, finally broke her silence last week. In screenshots obtained by People en Español, the telenovela star wrote on Instagram Stories that she had time to reflect.
“My children and the father of my children deserve that I clarify certain things that were said and distorted at the time,” read the 45-year-old actress’s note. “No one knows better than me what I have lived, what I have felt, what happened. Despite our problems, he is the man I will always love and wish the best for. If my greatest defect is loving the father of my children, I prefer that feeling to be love and not hate.”
