‘Twisters’ star Daisy Edgar-Jones rocks bright orange mini dress for Miami premiere
It may be hurricane season around these parts, but this actress is all about another, different weather event.
Daisy Edgar Jones stars in “Twisters,” a sequel to the 1996 adventure movie about intrepid meet reckless storm chasers who rush toward a tornado while others flee for their lives.
The native Brit was in Miami recently for the premiere of the actioner, out next Friday, at the Silverspot Cinema downtown.
Rocking a sleek orange mini dress, Jones walked the red carpet and also showed off her outfit for viewers at home on Instagram.
The 26-year-old who plays Kate, a troubled meteorologist, was able to mix pleasure with business. On her carousel of snapshots, she’s seen doing 305 things like hanging at the beach and on a boat.
So did Jones ever encounter any actual tornadoes while shooting?
“I was desperate to see one,” the “Normal People” star told Variety about how the cast followed a team tracking a storm from Kansas to Oklahoma City, which fortunately fizzled. “I was like, ‘Oh, my God, I’m genuinely scared, but also exhilarated.
“What a rush — all that planning for one moment of madness.”
