The Joe Jonas-Sophie Turner divorce isn’t over. Case just took a surprise turn in Miami
Thought Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner would have settled their divorce by now? Well, think again, because it’s far from over, folks.
You wouldn’t be alone in your assumption. We haven’t heard about friction between these two lately, especially since both parties have romantically moved on. At last check, Turner was with UK aristocrat Perregrine Pearson and Jonas with “American Idol” alum Stormi Bree.

But last Thursday, there was movement on the docket in Miami-Dade County, where the exes used to reside. The British actress filed paperwork asking that the divorce be “reactivated.” The case had been on hold during their temporary custody agreement, with the exes timesharing toddlers Willa and Delphine in their respective countries. That deal — reached after a brief albeit ugly custody battle over whether the girls should live in America or England — expired in January.

The new motion asks local judge Gina Beovides to impose a court-ordered settlement and dissolve the four-year marriage once and for all.
Things may not be as icky as they look on paper, though.
“The filing was a legal formality, and the couple continues to negotiate an amicable resolution,” Jonas’ rep tells TMZ.
