Did Donald Trump just snub in his own grandson?

It sure looked like it judging from a video shot at the Ultimate Fighting Championship match-up at Miami’s Kaseya Center Saturday night.

In a clip making the rounds on social media, Trump is seen working the room before the mixed martial arts bantamweight fight between Sean O’Malley and Marlon Vera.

As the former president makes his way through the wall to wall crowd flanked by security guards, he waves to the audience and greets fellow guests like Barstool Sports’ David Portnoy, who has a house in the area.

Suddenly, you can see the back of his daughter Ivanka’s head, her blond hair stick straight. Trump approaches, giving her a hug and a peck, then shakes her husband Jared Kushner’s hand and moves on down the line.

A few milliseconds later, you can see there’s someone standing in the middle of the couple: Their 10-year-old son.

Mom smiles and puts her arm around little Joseph, who doesn’t look too pleased.

Oops. Either Trump didn’t spot the child down there, or was too distracted by the flashing lights, screaming fans and loud music (Kid Rock’s “American Badass” was blasting on the Kaseya’s speakers). But as far as we can tell, Joseph was completely ignored.

The comments underneath one post on X by former Republican Ron Filipkowski, editor-in-chief of liberal news website Meidas Touch, were scathing:

“Remember all those photographs of Trump passing the football around with Barron on the White House lawn? Yeah, me neither.”

“Family values on full display.”

“Poor kid.”

“Well, he doesn’t have a credit card yet.”

Or perhaps, there is another, simpler explanation. At 77, Trump may need glasses.
