Miami man Jeff Bezos is once again the richest guy alive. So how much is he worth?
All those Amazon packages are really adding up.
Jeff Bezos is back on top as the world’s richest human.
The Palmetto alum’s crown had slipped a bit, having been edged out for about nine months by a worthy rival, that would be Elon Musk.
OK, so how much is the 60-year-old tech titan worth these days? Around a cool $200 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, a tally of the filthy rich.
So what clinched Bezos’ primo ranking? For starters, Amazon shares are up 17 percent this year to date. And, as per regulatory filings, the divorced father of four sold off $4 billion worth of shares since mid-February.

Bezos also owns space exploration company Blue Origin in Cape Canaveral, which last year scored a $3.4 billion NASA contract to build a new landing system on the moon.
Musk isn’t going away quietly, though. As of Tuesday, the South African Tesla king snagged the not too shabby No. 3 slot on the index.
