It was bound to happen. Just a few days after Jeff Bezos announced he was moving back home to Miami, locals have reported seeing the Amazon king (or his twin) around town.

On Friday, Only in Dade posted a video of a bald, buff man who resembled the Internet mogul zooming by on a hydrofoil surfboard, gliding a few inches off the water.

As this intrepid fun-seeker, wearing sunglasses, a black life jacket and a white skirt, whizzes past the cameraperson, he flashes a smile. You can also see a bouquet of white flowers in his hands.

“What in the Jeff Bezos is going on here?” asked the caption.

OK, so the guy on the board does look a lot like Bezos, 59, but we have so many questions, and so did the commenters underneath the post.

Folks wondered: Was he doing a Prime delivery? Getting married? Or just re-acclimating to his new environment?

“Bezos finally downloaded the Florida Man update.”

“Not even a week in Miami and he’s already acting out.”

“That’s the Miami effect.”

“Welcome to 305 Papi. Cafecito for you.”

Further down in the comments, though, came the answer.

The actual stuntman in the video, Gabriel Ruz Jr. (Instagram handle @chief.flying.officer), outed himself, writing, “That’s how I roll,” with a laughing emoji. On his page, you can see the local pilot’s many other impressive maneuvers on the water.

When asked why Ruz looked as if he was headed to a wedding in his unusual attire, there was no response in the replies, but he did say he was already married: “Funny, my wife didn’t know it was me either!”

A duped social media user wrote back to him: “Doppelgänger for the win.”

Yes, indeed. So the billionaire has a twin.

So if you see this guy around town, don’t ask him for a stock tips, a selfie, or a job at Amazon.
