Marriage troubles? David and Victoria Beckham have been through their share.

The two, who began dating in 1997 and wed in July 1999, talk frankly about their ups and downs in a new four part Netflix docuseries called “Beckham.”

That the parents of four, who are based part time in Miami, are still together is pretty impressive.

Among the major upheavals in their two decades plus together was when the soccer star was signed to play with Real Madrid in Spain in 2004 and was rumored to have had an alleged brief affair with his assistant, Rebecca Loos and possibly others.

“It was the hardest period for us, because it felt like the world was against us,” Posh recalls. “And here’s the thing: We were against each other, if I’m being completely honest. Up until Madrid, sometimes it felt like us against everybody else.... But when we were in Spain, it didn’t feel like we had each other either.”

“I don’t know how we got through it, in all honesty,” said the retired athlete. “Victoria is everything to me. To see her hurt was incredibly difficult but we needed to fight for each other and fight for our family.”

Another blip in the road that almost put a nail in the marriage was a row a year or so later, in February 2005, when the former Spice Girl was pregnant with their youngest son, Cruz, now 18.

Victoria explains that she was put on bed rest when her husband was called away to do an ad for Pepsi with Jennifer Lopez and Beyoncé.

“I was like, ‘Seriously, I’m about to burst,’” she says in the doc. “Are you kidding me?!”

After giving birth via C-section at a hospital in Madrid, Victoria was then treated to seeing her husband in tabloid pictures sandwiched in between the red-hot pop stars.

“I remember lying there, I don’t feel at my most gorgeous, let’s just say, and I remember someone showing me the front page of the newspaper,” she recalled. “And the headline was, ‘What would Posh say?’

“Let me tell you what Posh would say...Posh was pissed off!”

These days, as we all know, the Beckhams have gotten through all the noise, and appear quite happy.

Victoria even just released a new perfume line dedicated to romantic memories she shares with her main man. The scents are Portofino ’97, San Ysidro Drive and Suite 302, all which mark different stages in their relationship.

“I just fancied him,” she said of Becks regarding the spark they shared during their first meeting. “It was as simple as that.”

“Beckham” is currently streaming on Netflix.
