Beyoncé sizzles in silver for her Florida concert: ‘Hottest show I think I’ve done’
Queen Bey came to Florida to slay.
Beyoncé showed off a stunning silver gown she donned to her Wednesday night show in Tampa at Raymond James Stadium.
The shimmery, Space-Agey Missoni with a slit up the thigh she wore for her opening act gives a glimpse of what’s to come Friday night when her Renaissance World tour hits Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. It kicked off in May in Stockholm and wraps in New Orleans in September.
“Beyoncé took fans on a rhinestone-crusted journey of escapism,” read a glowing review in the Tampa Bay Times. “She sang, rapped, twerked and vogued through past and present hits.”
The mother of three, who reportedly brought all the kids with her (Blue Ivy, 11, who has done a few cameos, plus twins Rumi and Sir, 6), seems ready for us, at least weather wise. Tampa has been in the 90s all week.
“This is the hottest show I think I’ve done,” the “Halo” singer said during her concert, located about four hours northwest of the Magic City. “And y’all still gave us so much energy. I want to say thank you.”
For the Miami Gardens date, our girl will get more of the same temps. But she’s a pro, and so we’re sure she can handle the heat, even with all those multiple costume changes by today’s most haute designers.
Highlights include a dramatic coat with UV lights; a green, flowing dress with more cutouts than you can count; and metallic bodysuits paired with boots galore.
At least the Beyhive is appreciative for all her hard work.
“I still need a nurse!” stanned one in the comments. “Incredible, show-stopping, extravagant, breathtaking. I honestly don’t have the adjectives in my vocabulary to describe last night.”
