Shocker alert: Megan Fox is a better actress that you think.

Despite slaying every red carpet she has every graced, the mother of three whose birthday is today told the latest Sports Illustrated: Swimsuit Edition that, incredibly, she’s really not confident at all.

In a promo video, Fox, who graces one of the covers (along with Martha Stewart, 81!), talked about living with “body dysmorphia,” a mental health issue in which you can’t stop thinking about your physical flaws.

“I don’t ever see myself the way other people see me,” admitted the Tennessee native, who was raised in Port St. Lucie, Florida. “There is never a point in my life where I loved my body. Never, ever.”

The whole faking it ‘til you make it thing seems to working out pretty well thus far.

Fox looked absolutely stunning for the spread, rocking a chainmail bikini top and gold thong on the beach in the Dominican Republic.

Many commenters under the magazine’s social media posts were shocked to find out that Fox doesn’t see herself as an absolute goddess.

“OK, this is epic.”

“Surprised this [cover] didn’t happen sooner.”

“Queen.”

The down to earth star, who got her start as an extra shooting “Bad Boys 2” in Miami, just wants folks to know the real her.

“I wished everyone noticed my aura because I have a rainbow aura,” she said with a smile. “I’m a genuine soul who is hoping to actually belong to something and not always have to live as a misunderstood outcast.”
