Toddler’s day out: See billionaire Elon Musk in Miami Beach with his son named ‘X’
It was bring your son to work day for Elon Musk on Tuesday.
The South African billionaire, 51, was in town to deliver the keynote address about one of his companies (Twitter) during the MMA Global POSSIBLE marketing conference, with his 2-year-old son in tow.
Photographers at the Fontainebleau event in Miami Beach snapped the father of 10 carrying “X” (short for X AE A-XII, whose mom is singer Grimes, with whom he also coparents daughter, Exa Dark, 1).
Throughout the discussion, entitled “Twitter 2.0: From Conversations to Partnerships,” the little boy also sat on his famous father’s lap, eating a snack, reports People.
Two days later, Musk, unfortunately, made headlines for very different reasons. The megamogul’s SpaceX’s giant rocket Starship exploded minutes after takeoff in Boca Chica, Texas crashing into the Gulf of Mexico. The test flight carried no people and no one was injured.
Soon after, Musk (who also runs the show at Tesla, Neuralink and The Boring Company) sent out a congratulatory note to his team, despite the failure.
“Learned a lot for next test launch in a few months.”
