Attention, Miami paparazzi: Shakira needs your support.

How?

By staying away.

The Colombian pop star took to social media Monday as she prepares to move to Miami from Barcelona after splitting with the father of her two sons, soccer star Gerard Pique.

In Shak’s post, which appears in both Spanish and English, the 46-year-old pleads for privacy. But not for her; for her babies.

Read: Paps — as well as gossip writers, influencers, podcasters, bloggers, etc. — are more or less free to hound the global superstar’s every public move. For example, go for it if Shakira is chomping down on a slice of carb-loaded pizza (fact: the fitness fanatic loves La Leggenda in Miami Beach), or popping into the gym a la JLo back in the day. Just make sure the kiddos are not in the Kodak.

The “Waka Waka” singer wants her privacy more than most celebrities due to her children going through their parents’ very messy split on the world stage.

Shakira says she understands that there is a “permanent curiosity” about her and Pique (who is happily dating his mistress turned girlfriend Clara Chia Marti), but adds that her sons deserve some peace.

The entertainer goes on to rail against the media types in Spain, who were “incessant and relentless” in their pursuit for exclusive snaps and page views.

So, Shak’s message to Miami is: Do better.

“As they begin a new phase in their lives,” the “Hips Don’t Lie” hitmaker writes. “I ask you to refrain from following them to the exit or entrance of the school, wait for them at the door of our house, or chase them to their extracurricular activities.”

On a final note, the Super Bowl LIV co-star says she has faith that the good people of the 305 will do the right thing and be “sensitive to the situation.”

“I extend this petition no longer as an artist, but as a mother who wants to protect and care for the psychological and emotional well-being of her children so that they can live a healthy and happy life, as every child deserves.

“Thank you for your understanding.”
