Shakira is definitely not happy about being cheated on. What the pop star is doing
Awkward much?
That rumored move to Miami probably can’t come soon enough for Shakira.
It seems the Colombian pop star, who is still living in Barcelona, Spain, is having a few issues with her “in-laws” — that would be Gerard Pique’s parental units.
In-law isn’t exactly the correct term as Shakira never married the soccer star, the father of her two kids.
What we’re hearing over on this continent is that the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer is so salty about the footballer leaving her for another woman that she is taking it out on his parents who live next door.
Over the weekend, not long after her diss track, BZRP Music Sessions #53, dropped, the Super Bowl LIV sensation put up a mannequin of a witch propped up on a broom on her terrace ostensibly to freak them out. Paps caught pic of the bruja, complete with creepy long nails, blackened eyes and pointed hat.
Now, Spanish media outlet Marca reports that a wall is going up between their homes, which are apparently partially connected. Paparazzi snapped a cement mixer on the chart topper’s property at the gated community.
Shakira and Pique announced their split last summer, with him taking up with his assistant Clara Chia Marti, 23, shortly thereafter.
Apparently, the new couple’s relationship had been going on for quite some time, even when the parents of two were still under the same roof (obvio, thanks to some eaten jam and a telling Zoom meeting).
The pair share two children, Milan, 9, and Sasha, 7; the fact that Shak is still remaining close to their grandparents shows that she’s the adult (ish) in the room and putting the kids first.
We have a feeling she’ll be fine, and continue making sweet lemonade.

“Although our wounds continue to be open in this new year, time has surgeon’s hands,” read her first Instagram post of 2023. “Even if someone has betrayed us, we have to keep trusting. In the face of contempt, keep valuing yourself.”
Time will indeed tell when or if she ever makes it to the Magic City permanently.
Back in November, lawyers hashed out a deal allowing the entertainer to relocate with the boys. Pique will get visitation whenever he wants as non-custodial parent.
We can’t wait to see how she decorates the terrace.
