Oprah Winfrey pulls out her list of favorite things every holiday season, and now Eva Mendes, too.
The “Hitch” star showed her 3 million plus followers on Instagram what was in her makeup bag, which was more of a plastic baggie chaotically and unapologetically filled to the brim.
Mendes sits cross-legged on the floor staring at a wall mirror; the timeline puts her in Miami.
“You really want me to do this?” the actress asks the person filming.
The crickets sound.
The mother of two (dad is Ryan Gosling) then pulls out a Ziploc-style bag, the kind you’d see in your own kitchen to store strawberries.
“I try to reuse plastic so it’s not just single use,” explains the 48-year-old’s caption for the post entitled “Mami Life.” “So right now this is my makeup bag.”
The 305 native then goes on to list some products she loves including “@eyebrowqueen for brows, @edwardbess for light bronzer, @toofaced Better Than Sex mascara, and pretty much anything by @charlottetilbury.” (We hear the Magic Cream is a hit for the holidays.)
Mendes promises she isn’t getting paid to promote anything; the post is just a public service announcement for beautyholic moms who strive to look like her.
