Megyn Kelly still upset about JLo and Shakira’s Super Bowl show almost 3 years later
Those are fighting words in these parts.
Megyn Kelly dissed the Super Bowl LIV halftime show, which went down at Hard Rock in Miami Gardens Feb. 2, 2020. Well, not the show, the performers.
On her Friday podcast while discussing women’s fashion, the outspoken TV journalist came for Shakira and Jennifer Lopez, almost three years after the fact.
The two superstars famously both simultaneously shared the bill, hitting the stage in an over the top sexy, bilingual extravaganza, cementing the fierce Latinas into pop culture history.
Kelly’s issue was not with their playlist or dance moves, but for what they were wearing (or not wearing).

“I object to like JLo and Shakira showing their v** at the Super Bowl,” the former Fox News reporter told her guest, comedian Bridget Phetasy, who chuckled. “Like, I don’t want that. It’s gotta be situation appropriate.”
Kelly also ripped the Kardashians and their “unrivaled vanity,” in their quest for “clicks and likes.”
“They didn’t do it by themselves,” Kelly said of the reality family’s risque social media posts. “But more than any other, they’ve had a terrible effect in that lane, and I do blame them, I do.”

Though we over at Miami.com thought that Shak and JLo absolutely rocked the house and stunned us to our core, we get that their barely there, skin baring outfits (not to mention JLo pole dancing) may have offended some.
Actually more than some. The Federal Communications Commission received more than 1,300 complaints about the performance.
