Miami Heat star Tyler Herro was hanging out at a Publix in Doral. Here’s why

Shopping in Doral really was a pleasure for basketball fans on Thursday afternoon.

The Miami Heat’s Tyler Herro popped into a Publix there on NW 104th Avenue to celebrate energy drink G.O.A.T. Fuel’s expansion onto the chain’s shelves across South Florida.

The famous NBA guard, 22, posed for selfies with fans and signed cans of the stuff, a blend of cordyceps mushrooms, natural caffeine, green tea, amino acids and 10 essential vitamins.

Herro is the first ambassador for this new drink founded by Pro Football Hall of Famer Jerry Rice.

The choice makes sense since Herro is known as the “Baby G.O.A.T.” — which stands for The Greatest of All Time, due to his tender age. At just 19, the Wisconsin native was selected by the Heat in the first round of the 2019 NBA draft.

Rice thinks everyone, not just celebrities, should have such lofty goals.

“We believe the term G.O.A.T. shouldn’t be reserved just for athletes, but for anyone striving to be great.”

Publix will carry all four flavors — Blueberry Lemonade, Peach Pineapple, Pink Candy and Tropical Berry (that’s Herro’s fave, insiders told us).
