The SI: Swimsuit show is one of the most anticipated every year. See the pics in Miami
One of the most highly anticipated events on everyone’s Google calendar was Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue’s annual runway show for Miami Swim Week.
The gorgeous models seen in the magazine’s pages came to life during the PARAISO Miami Beach event held at the W Hotel South Beach Saturday night.
The catwalk vets were all there: Jasmine Sanders, Camille Kostek, Brooks Nader, Olivia Ponton.
Rookies of all shapes, sizes and backgrounds also came out in force like statuesque volleyball player Janell Williams; physicist, philanthropist and all around brainiac Manju Bangalore; and the curvaceous sister act from L.A. Micaela and Hunter McGrady.
In true Sports Illustrated Swimsuit spirit, the glitzy shindig featured a few jawdroppers.
Like when ‘80s aerobics queen Denise Austin, 65, popped out with her Mini Me daughter Katie, 29.
“She got it from her mama,” SI wrote in a post of the dual appearance, in which it’s truly hard to tell which one is which. “The results do NOT disappoint.”
Perhaps the biggest shocker of the night was when rookie Nicole Williams revealed her pregnancy to the well-heeled crowd.
The 34-year-old “WAGS” star strutted out in a blue sparkly robe, then opened it to show off a teeny, burgeoning tummy. Her husband, NFL star Larry English, then appeared and planted a kiss on his son or daughter to be.
“So this happened,” she captioned an Instagram Story of the Kodak moment, which was also posted to SI Swim’s Instagram.
Commenters loved the unexpected display of affection on the post that SI shared.
“So sweet.”
“Will remember this moment forever.”
Another noted the irony about how amazing Williams looked.
“Looks like me after eating a burrito, damn.”
