Wendy Williams seen heading to Miami after saying she was ‘ready’ for her comeback
Wendy Williams is on spring break.
The talk show host, who has been suffering ill health, was seen at Newark International Airport headed to Miami. TMZ paps snapped her looking just fine.
The longtime talk show host stepped away from her namesake show in the fall of last year. Since Wendy’s inability to appear, rotating guests hosts have stepped in throughout the season.
But last month, “The Wendy Williams Show” officially ended, replaced with a daytime chatfest by Sherri Shepherd called simply “Sherri.” It airs on Fox owned-and-operated stations in the same time slot.
Last week, Williams, 57, appeared on “Good Morning America,” saying she needed another three months to get her affairs in order and then she’d be back in action.
“There are private things that I have to deal with and then I’ll be ready to come back and be free and ready to do my thing.”
