Hot Italian rock band Måneskin is coming to Hard Rock Live. Here’s how to get tickets

Måneskin are Thomas Raggi, Damiano David, Victoria De Angelis and Ethan Torchio. The Italian rock band is scheduled to perform at the Seminole Hard Rock Live in Hollywood on Dec. 9, 2022. This is a venue change from the smaller Fillmore Miami Beach. Tickets sold for that venue will be honored at the Hard Rock.

“You wanted the best. You got the best. The hottest band in the land ...”

That was, and remains, the intro to every Kiss concert.

And while it may be a stretch to call Italian glam rock band Måneskin “the best” or the “hottest” there are a growing number of fans who might argue otherwise.

Måneskin is certainly riding the kind of buzz colorful, performance-styled rock bands in the early 1970s like Kiss, Queen, T. Rex and David Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars outfit once enjoyed.

South Florida rock fans are going to get to decide for themselves whether Måneskin is “America’s favorite new rock band” as The Los Angeles Times declared in December as the glam rockers set out on their first North American tour.

When is the Miami Beach Måneskin concert?

Måneskin’s Loud Kids Tour now plays the Seminole Hard Rock Live in Hollywood on Dec. 9, 2022. This is a venue change from the smaller Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater since that one sold out so fast.

The general ticket sale began at 10 a.m. Friday, March 25 via https://www.ticketmaster.com/maneskin-tickets/artist/2571850. Tickets purchased for the Fillmore show, which now will take place at the Seminole Hotel complex in Hollywood, will be honored at the Hard Rock Live venue. Tickets for the Hard Rock show go on sale at 4 a.m. March 29.

Standard tickets are $35-$79.

In a statement, the band said: “We’re so thrilled to be able to finally tell you that our LOUD KIDS tour just got sooooo much louder, worldwide — and will now see our very first headline tour in North America.”

The Hard Rock Live date is the only Florida stop on Måneskin’s Loud Kids Tour.

Who is Måneskin?

Måneskin won the Eurovision song contest in 2021 and played NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” in January 2022.

First, let’s learn to pronounce the group’s name. There’s even an instructional video floating around.

Måneskin is actually a Danish word for “moonlight” and in Italy is pronounced as “Man-a-skin” or with the accent on the second syllable as “Man-eh-skin.” In American English it’s generally pronounced “Man-skin.”

The Italian rock band formed in Rome in 2016 and features vocalist Damiano David, bassist Victoria De Angelis, guitarist Thomas Raggi and drummer Ethan Torchio.

The group finished second in the eleventh season of the Italy’s version of “X Factor” a year later and boosted their profile by winning the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 when they represented Italy with the song “Zitti e buoni.”

Eurovision is the contest that thrust ABBA into worldwide prominence back in 1974 with the hit single, “Waterloo.” Måneskin similarly knows how to dress flamboyantly for the concert stage but favors hard rock. Mesh tops. Eyeliner. Low-cut leather pants.

One can only imagine what Måneskin will make of South Beach.

On Jan. 22, Måneskin was the musical guest on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live,” making them the first Italian rock band to score that national spotlight.

Måneskin sing in Italian and English and made the U.S. rock charts with its singles “Beggin’” and “I Wanna Be Your Slave,” which, combined, top a billion streams.
