The Weeknd is no stranger to football stadiums.

The popular Canadian R&B singer-songwriter, born Abel Tesfaye, headlined the Super Bowl 55 halftime show at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium in February 2021.

But now The Weeknd’s headlining his own global stadium tour and there’s a Miami Gardens date.

The After Hours Til Dawn stadium tour plays Hard Rock Stadium on Aug. 6. and tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 10, via TheWeeknd.com/tour.

The After Hours Til Dawn tour — named for The Weeknd’s two albums “After Hours” and the new “Dawn FM” — opens in The Weeknd’s hometown of Toronto on July 8 at the Rogers Centre before hitting U.S. stadiums.

In addition to South Florida’s Hard Rock Stadium date, After Hours Til Dawn brings The Weeknd back to Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium on Aug. 4.

There are also first leg North American dates in New York City, Chicago, Las Vegas and a closing date at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on Sept. 2. The tour then heads out to Mexico, South America, Asia, Australia, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

If you had tickets for the previously announced After Hours arena tour in North America that was scrubbed due to the pandemic, tour presenter Live Nation said these fans will have access to a special presale starting March 4 and should receive an email by that date with more information.

The stadium tour is the first time The Weeknd can promote his two current studio albums on the road.

To plug the new “Dawn FM” album that debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 in January, the artist created a tie-in with Amazon Prime Video’s “The Weeknd x The Dawn FM Experience” in February.

The Weeknd released his current album, “The Dawn FM,” on Jan. 7, 2022.
