Ex Bucs Antonio Brown parties at the club in Miami after ex-team’s big loss
Sunday Funday.
Antonio Brown sure enjoyed himself the other night, right after his old team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, lost in the playoffs against the Los Angeles Rams at Raymond James Stadium.
The former NFL player, who was let go from the team earlier this month after a shirtless, public meltdown on the field, was busy holding down the fort at South Beach’s new Club XXIII.
Insiders tell Miami.com Brown rolled up in a silver Rolls-Royce, which he double-parked. The 33-year-old wide receiver rocked a big fur coat on the chilly evening to hang at the Any Given Sunday party, named after the 1999 classic football flick.
Another insider told Page Six that the Liberty City native “was joined by an attractive brunette and drank Casamigos till 3:30 in the morning.”
So is football off the table for now? It seems the big guy’s rapping career as “AB” is taking off. He recently dropped a track called “Pit Not the Palace,” which the club played as per his request, according to the 23rd Street venue’s Instagram.
Brown sure isn’t bothered about the whole burning bridges thing. After the Bucs loss, he Tweeted a meme holding a sign that said, “Bucs eliminated,” with a crying laughing face emoji. “I can’t.”
The former New England Patriots star is even pondering a lawsuit against his old team.
Appearing Tuesday on HBO’s “Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel,” Brown’s attorney, Sean Burstyn, said they intend to sue for releasing him after he claims he told coach Bruce Arians that he had injured his ankle and could not play the now infamous game against the New York Jets on Jan. 2.
“Antonio was defamed by this spin that he had a mental health episode that makes him someone who’s not reliable to do a good job on the field,” Burstyn said.
