COVID fatigue, respiratory issues or just general misbehaving? Erstwhile basketball bad boy Dennis Rodman reportedly caused some problems on a JetBlue flight Monday morning from Los Angeles to Fort Lauderdale, TMZ first reported.

Rodman refused to comply with the federal mask mandate while in the air, according to a spokesperson from the Broward County Sheriff’s Office.

“Mr. Rodman was wearing a mask but would temporarily pull it down at different times while the plane was in flight,” the BSO spokesperson told the Miami Herald. “The staff stated that they would ask him to pull it back up and he would, but then would pull it down again throughout the trip stating he had trouble breathing.”

The 60 year old NBA champ, who was seated in first class, was met by Broward Sheriff’s Office Airport District deputies in terminal three at around 5:30 a.m. after landing at FLL.

“Mr. Rodman cooperated with deputies and exited the airport grounds on his own with no issues,” concludes the BSO statement.

JetBlue clearly states on its website the policy due to the ongoing pandemic: “Face masks are required inside all airport terminals and the duration of every JetBlue flight” for all people 2 and older.
