Unlike many of us, Lil Wayne has had a pretty good run during quarantine.

That’s because the Miami rapper has fallen deeply, madly in love.

His girlfriend, plus size model Denise Bidot, posted a tribute to Weezy on Instagram on his birthday, who turned 38 on Sunday.

The two pose with wide smiles on what appears to be a private jet to the Dominican Republic. They went Instagram official back in June, so seeing such a romantic homage wasn’t a big shocker.

“Happy Birthday to the man who managed to steal my heart during a pandemic. These past five months have been filled with more love, passion and laughter than i ever thought possible. You’re my best friend, my lover, and way more than a dream come true. Here’s to celebrating you today and every day baby!! I LOVE YOU.”

On Bidot’s Stories, Wayne was seen cutting open a ginormous, cream colored cake.

For his part, Wayne posted a serene beach pic that just said “Thank you.” We have to assume it’s the D.R.

Bidot in the comments sent back a kiss emoji.

Awww, we just can’t with these two.

Nice to see the couple relaxing and chilling in such a low-key, pandemic-appropriate way.

Wayne’s birthday this year was a far cry from 2018 when he had a huge blowout celebrating not only his 36th year on the planet but also his long-awaited album “Tha Carter V.”

The Source magazine posted an Insta pic paying tribute to the rap star showing a throwback photo from that party, which featured a huge red cake with multiple layers covered with pictures of the hip hop legend. He was surrounded by a bunch of carefree people, wearing no masks, who weren’t social distancing. Because that term wasn’t even in our lexicon yet.

Those were the days. Sigh.

Glad you had a great one, Lil Tunechi.
