Cedric Gervais just celebrated his birthday in a Miami restaurant — new-normal style
A sign that things are returning to normal after a protracted lockdown: the celebrities are going back out there.
Over the weekend, star DJ Cedric Gervais celebrated his 41st birthday at newly reopened Swan in the Design District.
Just a few weeks ago, Gervais was giving a socially distant balcony concert to honor first responders in Edgewater.
Swan owner Dave Grutman documented the festivities on Instagram, giving a glimpse into the party which included a ton of food, skinny women in bandage dresses and a giant cake with sparklers.
Guests sat at socially distanced tables outdoors in the open-air garden while perusing menus on their phones (you scan a QR code to see the offerings), and being served by the waitstaff in masks.
Gervais later took the DJ booth with friend/EDM colleague Alesso, shoulder to shoulder.
“It’s good to be back!” wrote Grutman on his Stories.
