How many Cuban sandwiches can you buy for $1,280? Ask Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes

It’s no secret that Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes have been in lockdown together in Miami.

The pop singers are holed up, making the best of the situation, and doing good in the process. Recently, they surprised pediatric patients via FaceTime at the Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C.

Cabello, in between posting cooking tutorials on Stories (her big, fat pancakes looked pretty yummy), is also helping people in her hometown, 7News first reported.

The “Havana” singer and Mendes gave a whole bunch of Cuban sandwiches to the healthcare workers at Jackson South Medical Center on Friday.

A receipt from El Rinconcito Latino showed that Cabello and Mendes paid $1,280 for an order of 200 sandwiches (made up of pork, ham, Swiss cheese, mustard and pickles on pressed Cuban bread).

“When they say, ‘200 sandwiches,’ [we said], ‘What? At this time? It’s for what?’” restaurant employee Andreina Rodriguez told 7News. “It’s important to support a local business, so Camila Cabello, thank you.”
