This new song about Dwyane Wade is all we are listening to in quarantine right now

Miami’s Dyamond Doll is off to a rollicking start.

The Miami rapper’s first single pays homage to one of the most 305 athletes of all time, period: Dwyane Wade.

And the song, appropriately titled “D.Wade,” features our city’s official Baddest B-word, Trina.

Doll realizes the timing for a release is not ideal, amid the coronavirus crisis.

The 27-year-old newcomer, who has performed at LIV and Story and other venues, says the song is meant to be “an uplifting anthem during these perilous times.”

Talk about uplifting. The video of Doll jumping around on a yacht in a bikini with the Miami skyline in the background might make you forget you’re on quarantine for a hot minute.

The hip hop song already has the retired basketball legend’s stamp of approval.

The rising entertainer thanked the NBA great for his support on Instagram: “This means the world to me,” read the caption next to a video of Wade jamming to the tune. “Thanks again to The Queen @trinarockstarr @dwyanewade It’s time to bring the city back. Let’s go. #wadecounty.”

That’s not all: Doll and Trina are giving away up some major cash to the winner of a new social media dance challenge.

“Post your best dance to my song ‘D.Wade’ available everywhere, post it and if you have the best dance I’m going to send you $1,000,” Doll posted.

Use the hashtag #dyamondDWadeChallenge.
