The music producer’s wife, Gloria Estefan, posted a picture earlier this week of him getting a manicure.
But not just any manicure. A quarantine-mode manicure.
Emilio was sitting at the table with his hand peeking out, outstretched. His attire: a large, black garbage bag, head to toe. We are assuming it had holes for breathing.
Gloria’s caption: “There’s a fine line between caution and paranoia,” with the hashtags #manicuresuit #whenwillthisallend.
Commenters asked if that was really her hubby underneath all that plastic and the singer said, indeed, yes, it was.
But apparently, Emilio was just making light of the situation. Gloria explained that the couple was at home social distancing amid the coronavirus outbreak and that the manicurist had come to them.
A day later, Gloria had a more serious message for fans, addressing the global health crisis.
“We’re going to get through it. It’s tough to see everything that’s in the news.... sending you good vibes today and hopefully stepping up our communication a little bit through this very trying time,” she said. “I love you very much.”
