Both LIV and Story nightclubs are ‘pausing operations’ due to coronavirus pandemic
Miami’s awesome nightlife is not immune to the coronavirus pandemic.
Two of our hottest clubs, owned by hospitality king David Grutman, are closing until further notice.
A statement says that both LIV and Story were pausing operations “out of an abundance of caution” and “following the guidelines of local and national and international authorities.”
The lineup for Miami Music Week was fierce, and this is very unfortunate.
LIV, located inside the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, was set to host performances by Cedric Gervais and Gianluca Vacchi on March 18, Alesso on March 19, Kaskade on March 20 and The Chainsmokers March 21.
As for Story, the SoBe club was to feature such world-renowned DJs as Deadmau5 on March 18, Steve Aoki on March 19, Fisher on March 20, and The Martinez Brothers on March 21.
Any pre-purchased tickets will be refunded.
“As the predominant nightlife venue in South Florida, we take the health, wellbeing and safety of our patrons and employees seriously and as our top priority,” says a statement from both clubs. “We look forward to opening our doors again soon, providing much-needed entertainment to the community.”
