Watch Magic Johnson keep it old school and do the ‘Electric Slide’ with Miami cops

It’s admittedly a stressful time, between the elections and latest coronavirus case.

No one could blame you for wanting a break in the news cycle.

Well, here it is.

Basketball great Magic Johnson appeared with his company Simply Healthcare at a senior event with 99 Jamz on Thursday along with the City of Miami police department at Charles Hadley Park.

The festivities included a live DJ, music, food, giveaways as well as an impromptu line dancing session.

Major Alberto Guerra of the Miami Police Department captured Johnson in action, doing the classic “Electric Slide,” along with some active older folks and officers in uniform.

“What’s better than doing the ‘Electric Slide?’ It’s doing the slide with Magic Johnson,” read the offier’s post.

You’re right, it really doesn’t get much better than that.

Now back to freaking out about how many times we washed our hands today.
