Two years after his divorce, Nicky Jam is engaged. Watch the proposal in Miami
Nicky Jam is a total romantic. We have proof.
The 38-year-old old reggaetónero, whose real names is Nick Rivera Caminero, just got engaged on Valentine’s Day, and the swoon-worthy moment was all caught on camera.
In the video the “El Amante” singer posted to Instagram, you see him and his now-fiancée Cydney Moreau walk onto a waterfront patio with the Miami skyline in the background (it looks to be the hip-hopper’s Palm Island $3.4 million manse). Rose petals are scattered about, as are huge balloons, provided by Decoraciones Globales in Miami, as per the company’s social media.
Moreau’s look of pleasant surprise turns to shock when Jam gets down on bended knee. They do an impromptu little dance to the love song playing, JP Saxe’s “The Few Things.” The music star then hands her a box with the ring.
On his Insta, Nicky wrote an homage to his wife to be: “The best Valentine of my life. I love you. I hope we last until we’re old. I’m the happiest man in the world, and no one can ever change that.”
Oh, Moreau said yes. In person, and on her Instagram.
The model shared the same video with the caption, “Yes x a million. I love you so much. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you. Best day ever.”
The couple met on the set of the Massachusetts native’s “Atrévete” music video last year. Their on-screen chemistry was apparently real (he played a short order cook, she a waitress who fall in love).
No wedding date has been set. But we hope the ceremony is in Miami. With the skyline serving as backdrop again.
This will be the Latinx entertainer’s second marriage.
Nicky split with Colombian model Angelica Cruz in August 2018, after 18 months of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.
