Bar Louie closes dozens of restaurants. What does this mean for the Kendall location?

Bar Louie

Bar Louie, the restaurant known for its martinis and burgers, has filed for bankruptcy and is closing some of its restaurants.

What does this mean for the Kendall location at The Palms at Town & Country?

Nothing, at least not yet. A representative of the restaurant said that there are no plans to close the location at this point.

CNN reported that the chain filed for Chapter 11 on Monday and that the restaurant “came to an agreement with its lenders to purchase the chain through a bankruptcy sale. Bar Louie said that restaurants will operate in the ‘normal course of business’ and expects to emerge from bankruptcy within 90 days.”

The closures were in Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan and Colorado, according to CNN. There are more than 90 locations throughout the United States, including Coconut Creek in Broward County and Boynton Beach, Palm Beach County.
