David Beckham never fails to surprise us.
Which is why we are so happy he has a Miami connection.
The soccer legend appeared in a guest role on “Modern Family” Wednesday night, playing well, David Beckham. He appears alongside actress Courteney Cox, also playing herself.
The two stars bump into a few of the ABC show’s cast members at a luxury apartment complex where Alex (Ariel Winter) recently moved.
In one hilarious scene, Cox and Beckham end up in the building’s hot tub with married couple Jesse Ferguson (Mitchell) and Eric Stonestreet (Cam).
Cam tries to get Becks to record his outgoing voicemail message. And Mitchell only cares about seeing his wife.
“When does Posh get here?” asks Mitchell.
Actually, Victoria Beckham was there, just not on camera.
The fashion mogul posted a pic on the set with the whole Beckham brood.
Becks posted another clip of him and Cox on Instagram, writing, “So much fun filming on one of my favorite shows.”
Wonder if he likes “Friends” too?
