‘Hide yo wives’: Miley Cyrus’ ex girlfriend moves on in Miami Beach
They were together for a hot minute, and boy, was it hot.
We’re talking about Miley Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter, who very publicly got together after their very public splits from their husbands.
Cyrus was married to Liam Hemsworth for roughly a year; Carter was wed to her fellow “The Hills” costar Brody Jenner for about the same time.
Ah, Hollywood love.
As per her Instagram page, Carter was in Miami Beach, staying at Nautilus by Arlo, doing what people do when they are here: diligently working on her suntan.
“Out here tryna get a tan for obvious reasons,” read her caption alongside a bikini pic.
We hope Carter used sunblock, even though it’s winter.
Lurking paparazzi caught the 31 year old so called influencer taking a dip with a female friend, but there didn’t seem to be anything romantic going on. Carter and the pal also visited Nobu, as per the ‘Gram.
In one slinky pic in the lobby, her caption read, “Hide yo kids, hide yo wives.”
But, really who cares if this was a romantic getaway for Carter and her friend? It’s not like she and Cyrus are an item by any stretch. Their fling may have been a rebound thing.
“They’ve been friends forever,” an insider told People.com in September after the ladies parted ways. “And they were there for each other when they were getting separated.”
The former “Hannah Montana” star is linked with Aussie pop star Cody Simpson. The two spent Thanksgiving together, so he may be a keeper.
But with Cyrus, it’s unclear, as she angrily Tweeted after the Carter breakup that fans should “get used” to her dating lots of people, male or female. Period.
As for Carter’s ex, reconciliation doesn’t appear to be likely with Jenner. The DJ was with Jose Canseco’s daughter, Josie Canseco for a few weeks but UsWeekly reports the reality star is now with Maxim model Alison Mason.
