DJ Khaled’s kid’s first birthday party probably cost more than your wedding

On Saturday, DJ Khaled outdid himself and pretty much everyone else in the world when he threw a ridiculously over the top first birthday bash for his son Asahd at LIV.
Yes, it took place during the day.
And it was hosted by a man who’s old enough to be a granddaddy -Puff Daddy. Remember, this kid wore a $2,000 suit to the VMAs. Khaled is the opposite of low key.

Of course the party had a sponsors, among them: Tot Living, the child friendly version of luxe mag Haute Living and Just Dance 2018, a video game that kept the kids and the adults on their toes.
Besides the usual kiddie fan fare -you know, dancers and real tigers – there was also an area where the wee ones were able to test drive kid-sized luxury cars. No celeb kid would get caught in their diapers driving anything but a mini Bentley.
Not to be outdone, Khaled and his spawn were the biggest names there. The low key guest list included no one really other than Fat Joe and model Karolina Kurkova.
And it wasn’t just about frivolity and silver spoons. Khaled asked for donations to be made to UNICEF.
Can’t wait to see what he does for the kid’s second birthday.
