Aaron Carter checks out of rehab early

He’s out.

Aaron Carter is no longer in rehab.

The St. Petersburg, Florida, based singer checked out two weeks after starting at the unknown facility, reportedly due to money and other  matters.

“Aaron did really well while he was away in rehab. He wants to continue his road to recovery but he had some urgent financial matters to care of in Florida,” a source tells Us Weekly. “Several legal and personal matters arose that required his immediate and in-person attention. He is still very much committed to his wellness and will be continually working toward being the best person possible.”

According to the source, Carter had gained weight and was on the road to recovery and was “upset” he had to leave.

“Aaron knows that many people may not believe this excuse, but he was really upset he had to leave to handle this situation. He still has plans to continue his recovery.”

The former child star had an action packed summer.  In June he ended up in the hospital due to a hiatal hernia; in July he was arrested on suspicion of DUI; in August, he split with his girlfriend and revealed he was bisexual; in September, he got into a “severe” car accident and was investigated by the cops.
